Jantar Mantar observatory in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest built astronomical observatory in the world. This impressive observatory was founded in the early 18th century by Sawai Jai Singh. There are 18 instruments in this huge observatory, most of which still work.
