Shwedagon Paya, Yangon. The Shwedagon Pagoda is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar.

The beautiful and impressive Shwedagon Paya is believed to contain relics of the four previous Buddhas of the present kalpa. According to tradition the pagoda is more than 2500 old. It is located just north of Yangon Downtown.
