White Pagodas around Sandamuni Paya
The Buddhist stupa Sandamani Paya near Mandalay Hill is surrounded with hundreds of smaller white pagodas. Sandamuni was build at the end of the 19th century in order of King Mindon Min. It is a memorial to his younger brother, prince Kanaung Mintha, who was assassinated during the 1866 Myingun Prince rebellion.

Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Bago
The beautiful golden Shwemawdaw Pagoda or Shwemawdaw Paya in Bago, Myanmar. Being 114 metres tall, the Shwemadaw is even higher than the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. This Mon Pagoda was originally built around the 10th century.

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda
Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is a 7.3 meter high golden pagoda which has been built on top of the Golden Rock monolith, which is located in Kyaikto in Myanmar, roughly 200 kilometers from the former capital Yangon. The golden rock is a meter high granite boulder, which is covered with gold leaf by believers. The rock balances on the edge of the peak of the 1,100 meter high Kyaikto Mountain.

Shwedagon Paya, Yangon
Shwedagon Paya, Yangon. The Shwedagon Pagoda is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar. The beautiful and impressive Shwedagon Paya is believed to contain relics of the four previous Buddhas of the present kalpa. According to tradition the pagoda is more than 2500 old. It is located just north of Yangon Downtown.
